Raffaella - My Story

My name is Raffaella Sorropago and I'm the proud owner of one of the oldest and most prestigious Italian catteries of the Sacred Cat of Burma.

I was given my first cat Samantha as a gift in 1992 and since then I have been breeding birman cats with passion and reliability, always having as a goal kittens with a sweet disposition as well as an enchanting look.

Over the last 15 years, my numerous successes in Italian and international competitions have paid off, allowing me to earn the reputation of best breeder in all of Italy in successive years: 2002, 2003, and 2004. Currently no Birman cat is on a par with my dear Grand Champion International, Icingsugar Giove and his successes.

I am proud of the results achieved by my cats in shows but most of all, I am proud of the joy my kittens give to a lot of children and lucky owners.

In 2005 I decided to take a break...After all it was so nice to finally stay at home cuddled by the special man in my life, with my three restless but amazing children and, of course, with all my cats. After two years my birmans are back “treading the boards”...See you in the 2007 cat shows!
